About the event
Barn Buds, please welcome our first show of the season and my dear friend Mike Ferrio...
Mike has toured worldwide in the critically acclaimed band, Tandy. Now he’s a solo artist who goes by the name Good Luck Mountain and has garnered admiration from many great songsmiths everywhere. He may be too humble to admit it, but Steve Earle is his biggest fan and is frequently spotted in the front row during Mike's intimate city shows. One time, he even invited Mike out for grilled cheese sandwiches, and Mike was nice enough to let me tag along like an overenthusiastic kid brother.
In 2007, I was told that Mike was looking for a roommate for his Brooklyn flat. I think I agreed within about 20 seconds of the phone call and was at the doorstep with just a guitar the following day. That decision remarkably changed my life's trajectory in…
